#2 – Short Term 12
This film first showed up on my radar following its debut at Sundance this January. Reviews were very positive and now looking at the trailer it seems to encompass everything that the Utah festival and honest to goodness independent American cinema should be about. Apologies for sounding lame and idealistic but so much American cinema seems reluctant to settle on stories about ordinary people working ordinary jobs just trying to navigate their way through life. Watch the Short Term 12 trailer and tell me you’re not buying into it.
