What’s Worth Watching – November 2013

#3 – Broken Song
November 15th

Broken Song

A black and white film about North Dublin hip-hop artists? Winner of audience and critics circle awards at this year’s Dublin Film Festival? Alright then!

So much of the Irish arts scene is dominated by the middle and upper classes so any work that shines a light on people from so-called “disadvantaged” areas who are using music to share stories from lives should be worthy viewing.

The film plays Dublin’s IFI from the 15th and then makes it way to the Ballymun Axis Theatre from the 27th.
