So we’re not really one for the gossip sites or anything but as members of Generation Y and closet fans of that 70s show, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t interested in Ashton Kutcher’s portrayal of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.
Joshua Michael Stern’s Jobs: Get Inspired is released at some stage in 2013 but filming has already started in L.A. We’re normally not really interested in set photos but it’s fun to see the look that the producers have gone for here. Sticking to Jobs’ iconic black polo-neck and jeans look is a pretty safe move for our first look at the character.
I must admit there are doubts about how good this film can be. It’s coming from a man who is best known for directing Kevin Costner election vehicle Swing Vote, and spans Jobs’ life from 1971-2000.
But having said that who would have thought a film about Facebook would turn out to be one of the best films of the last five years.
