3) Galway Film Fleadh is coming

Yes it will soon be Spooool’s favourite time of year, The Galway Film Fleadh, running this year from the 7th to the 12th of July.

They’ve put together a lovely wee video showcasing all that Galway has to offer. The opening film was announced this week as My Name is Emily with the full programme for this year’s festival being announced on the 23rd of June.

4) IFI Open Day is June 20th

No college open day was ever as fun as the IFI Open Day and it’s back once more to offer you 15 free films to indulge on the 20th of June.

If free films isn’t enough for you, the IFI will also be offering you the chance of a glimpse inside their workings with a tour of the projection room and archive.

5 ) Song of The Sea Trailer

Song of the Sea will be coming onshore to cinemas on July 10th and to peak your interest if it wasn’t already they’ve released a new trailer and poster.

The film will also be released in Irish so stay tuned to Spooool.ie for our Irish language review when it drops.
