1) Xtra-vision Update

Kudos to Rob Martinez (@Broccoli_Robb) for sparking this new meme

3) Ray Harryhausen R.I.P.

By now you will no doubt have heard about the passing of Ray Harryhausen, a giant of visual effects. Much has been said of his tremendous career, so lets just watch some of his most iconic work from Jason and the Argonauts

4) Wheatley World Domination

Ben WheatleyThat’s Ben Wheatley not our Nigel. 5) The World’s End

The final part of Edgar Wright’s Cornetto Trilogy will find its way onto our screens this summer. Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Wright are back to finish what they started with Shaun of the Dead back in 2004. The trailer is interesting and seems to be full of inn (get it?) jokes. Keep your diary free for the 19th July.

Páraic

Páraic wanted to be a gangster as far back as he can remember. Brought up on a diet of films he was too young to be watching by his brothers, all things 80s teens thanks to his sisters and the classics by his folks he's turned into a well-rounded (maybe a little too round) film lover. Only recently discovering North by Northwest, he longs for a train journey with a beautiful blond.
