1) IFI gets major donation of film from NUI Maynooth
Dublin’s Irish Film Institute has just received a significant boost to their archive-keeping efforts thanks to one Fr. Edward Moriarty who documented Ireland from the 1930s through to the 50s. It features valuable footage of Slane Castle and Glasnevin Cemetery. They were donated on Marie Kelly’s behalf and now rest safely in the vaults of the IFI.
