3) R.I.P. Mickey Rooney

mickeyrooney

Mickey Rooney passed away on Sunday at the age of 93. A quick look at his IMDB page reveals he appeared in over 300 acting roles and his first film appearance was in 1926.

He will be remembered for many roles, perhaps most notably the incredibly racist portrayal of an Asian man in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. He cropped up again lately in the various Night at the Museum movies but it was his Andy Hardy films that made him a darling with American audiences from 1936 to 1947. He was married eight times and is survived by his 8th wife Jan Chamberlin who he was married to for 37 years. However after a career of 80 years in show business USA Today claim his estate is worth a mere $18,000 and BBC reported yesterday that it’s his wife and his lawyer duking it out for the cash.

Páraic

Páraic wanted to be a gangster as far back as he can remember. Brought up on a diet of films he was too young to be watching by his brothers, all things 80s teens thanks to his sisters and the classics by his folks he's turned into a well-rounded (maybe a little too round) film lover. Only recently discovering North by Northwest, he longs for a train journey with a beautiful blond.
