That’s right, you guessed it Steven Spielberg is teaming up with the Coen Brothers to make a cold war thriller with Tom Hanks at the helm.
The Coens will tackle a new draft of the untitled script that was originally written by Matt Charman and it seems quite likely that Spielberg will take on the directing duties.
The film centres on James Donovan, a lawyer who was pushed into the Cold War when he had to negotiate for the release of downed U2 (Bono cameo?) spy plane pilot Gary Powers after the airman was shot down over Russia.
