1) IFI French Film Festival approaching

Oui, it’s that time of year again so put your stripey t-shirts and berets on, roll a cigarette, lose the baguette and cycle down to the IFI. I think that covers the majority of the stereotypes.

Running from the 20th of November to the 1st of December the festival will give cinephiles a chance to see the cream of French cinema. The full line up is here but keep your eyes peeled for Nigel’s round up of one to watch next week, including Just a Sigh which is pictured above.

Páraic wanted to be a gangster as far back as he can remember. Brought up on a diet of films he was too young to be watching by his brothers, all things 80s teens thanks to his sisters and the classics by his folks he's turned into a well-rounded (maybe a little too round) film lover. Only recently discovering North by Northwest, he longs for a train journey with a beautiful blond.
