Iridium today announced the launch of its revolutionary mobile hotspot, Iridium Go Exec. This device is a major upgrade from the company’s earlier version of Iridium Go, which was released in 2014. Weighing only 1,200 grams and small enough to fit in a backpack, this device is no bigger than a regular smartphone. It also comes with a built-in battery that can provide 6 hours of use or 24 hours of standby time.
The new version of Go Exec has been improved to allow easy web browsing, Twitter access and messaging via apps like WhatsApp. Users can now expect download speeds of 88Kbps and upload speeds of 22Kbps, while the original Iridium Go offered 2.4Kbps. The product is also able to connect to 66 satellites orbiting around Earth so it can be used virtually anywhere you need an internet connection – even on airplanes or boats!
“We are proud to introduce this revolutionary technology to our customers,” said Iridium CEO Matt Desch. “Go Exec will provide users with fast and reliable access to the Internet wherever they go.” With its compact size and powerful performance capabilities, Go Exec will make it possible for users to stay connected on the go without worrying about signal strength or internet speed.
The product is now available for $1,800 and comes with two antennas: one indoor and one outdoor antenna that connects directly to the satellite dish. So whether you’re exploring new places or just want reliable internet access while traveling, Iridium Go Exec has you covered!
